The Wisconsin Elections Commission has responded to VRF’s request for the total number of voters who cast a ballot in the 11/3/2020 General Election and who had registered as Indefinitely Confined and not provided ID prior to the 11/3/2020 General Election.

The dataset reflects:

  • 40,856 registrants who voted in the 2020 General Election with an Indefinitely Confined status and according to WEC, had not provided ID prior to doing so.
  • 32,857 of these voters remain in an Active status
  • 7,999 of these voters are in an Inactive status.

Note: Registration date on the attached report reflects data that is updated any time a registrant modifies their voter registration record. The attached report reflects voters who cast a ballot in the 11/3/2020 election and had an indefinitely confined status per the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
