Mar 5, 2025, Ponte Vedra beach, FL — Voter Reference Foundation added voter registration data from Indiana to its public, searchable database at VoteRef.com.

The database now covers 33 states and the District of Columbia.

Indiana joins Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin, and Wyoming, along with the District of Columbia.

While adding voter data for Indiana is a great step forward, the state laws surrounding the access and availability of voter data are very restrictive. Site visitors will notice the amount of information is lacking completeness when compared to most of the other states published on voteref.com. The Voter Reference Foundation will continue the push for full transparency and work to make all the data available for public inspection.

About Voter Reference Foundation and VoteRef.com:
Voter Reference Foundation was created by Restoration Action, an educational 501c4 organization founded by West Point graduate and successful entrepreneur Doug Truax. A former U.S. Senate candidate in Illinois, Truax is deeply interested in election integrity, as expressed in this 2021 op-ed in American Greatness and 2022 follow-up op-ed in Real Clear Politics.
VoteRef.com is a permanent reference source where the voter rolls and other tools will be stored and updated for review with each election. Those who access the website can search by name or address for registered voters. They also will be able to examine, in most cases, voter histories — a list of elections that voters participated in, as well as other important election data obtained via official sources.
